The Basics
1. Crevice Tool
Long sinny shape gets into the tight spots: around vents and radiators, between cushions of chairs and sofas, dryer vent, corners, along basebosrds, refrigirator coils, between seats in the car.
2. Dusting Brush
Usually round but sometimes available in other shapes. Long soft bristles are good for cleaning coffee table, end tables, framed art, lampshades, blinds, windowsills, dressers, bookcases, shelves,car dashboards, TV screens and other delicate tasks.
3. Upholstery Tool
This tool is wider and with no bristles. Sometimes it has a fabric to remove lint. Use this tool to clean sofas, chairs, cushions, carpeted stairs, car seats.
4. Extension Wands
Attach any of your basic accessories to the end of one or more extension wands to clean out of reach areas both high and low.
5. Bare Floor Tool
Comes in different sizes and styles. Use on hard surface flooring, tile and grout, linoleum, laminate, vinyl, hardwood, pergo.
6. Power Nozzle/Revolving Brushroll
The carpet needs a revolving brushroll to loosen up the embedded dirt and sweep it into the suction path. Use on all your carpeted areas.
